Kizashi is built around a simple privacy stance: we collect the minimum we need to make the site work, store nothing about you that could identify you, and bring no third party along for the ride.

What we store about your visit

Each browser is given a random identifier — held in a cookie called __Host-kbid — so we can avoid showing you the same Spark twice in a row. The identifier is opaque: it is not tied to your name, email address, IP address, or any other detail. It expires after 60 days of inactivity and is renewed each time you visit. You can delete it at any time from your browser's settings; the next visit just hands you a fresh one.

We record which Sparks have been served to your browser identifier so the rotation works. We do not record your IP address, your user agent, the page you came from, or any free-form payload alongside it.

What we do not do

No third-party tracking pixels. No advertising scripts. No analytics services from Google, Meta, or any other vendor. No social-network "share" buttons that load remote JavaScript. No fingerprinting. No cross-site identifiers. No data sold or transferred to anyone.

The site uses a single cookie — __Host-kbid — described above. There are no analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or session cookies of any other kind. Because the cookie is strictly necessary for basic site functionality and is not used for tracking, no consent banner is shown.
